Church Prayer

Instructor: Workshop Format

Course Description:

The intent of the workshop is to introduce the candidates to various Church prayers, their background, and usage in the Church.

Among the prayers to be presented are to include, but not limited to:

•    Eucharistic Prayers 1, 2, 3 & 4
• The Creeds Apostles & Nicene
•     Rosary All Mysteries
•    Liturgy of the Hours Morning & Evening Prayer
•     Office of Readings
•     The Way of the Cross
•   Litanies
•     Devotions to Mary
•     Devotions to Joseph

The candidate will prepare presentations on assigned topic during class periods. In some instances, presentations may be made by a team of 2 or 3 candidates.

Evaluation:

The candidates will be evaluated on the content of their presentations. They will be further evaluated on deliver of their presentations and ability to answer questions regarding the materials they present.

Where presentations are made by a team, continuity of presentations will be considered.
