Syllabus for World News Workshop

Purpose:

To develop an awareness of world events and their impact on faith and morals, particularly as they relate to and affect:

Ø     Our personal lives;

Ø     Our family;

Ø     Our workplace; and

Ø     The Church in general.

Preparation:

Read and /or review world events that took place since your prior class date.

Identify those which fall into the categories mentioned above.

Be prepared to present and discuss these areas.

Performance Evaluation:

Evaluation will be based upon preparation and classroom participation.
